At 45, Richard was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. It became stage 4. Some days the win was just getting to the mailbox.
After surviving and losing friends who didn't, he made a decision: if he got a second chance, he would use it. Every item in the bag is chosen by someone who knows what treatment really feels like.

Can I ship a bag directly to the person I'm supporting?
Yes. Add your personal note on the product page, then enter their address as the shipping address at checkout. The bag ships straight to them.
What's the difference between the backpack and the crossbody?
The backpack is the full kit, with 15+ comfort items including a blanket, water bottle, "Elefante" puppet and bamboo utensils. The crossbody carries the essentials: lip balm, bed socks, beanie, journal, pen, challenge chip and bracelets.
Blue or pink: which should I choose?
Both carry the same kind of practical comfort items. Pick the color that means the most to the person you're supporting.
Is my purchase or sponsorship tax-deductible?
No. The Blue Bag Project and Operation Positive Vibes are for-profit organizations. Purchases, contributions and sponsorships fund the production and delivery of bags and are not charitable donations.
